Whoa! Great video. I love the vinyl. It's so powerful, It's indeed much better than the CD. My turntable is a Technics 1200 with a Ortofon ARKIV cartridge, no CD able to beat it!

Plenty of bands are still making vinyl. Metallica, Coldplay, Madonna, Brian Wilson, Nine Inch Nails, just to name a few. You probably won't find your current emo rock and Jonas Brothers on vinyl, but more and more small or independent label artists, (like HR) are making vinyl like crazy. There are also plenty of Classic Rock bands, and even more current bands like AC/DC who are re-releasing their entire catalogs on high grade vinyl. Look around on ebay, you might be pleasantly surprised! :)

This may be a dumb question, but are the quality of vinyls made today "better" than the ones made back then?
I am looking to get into vinyl, and saw some made in 2008 so the question comes to mind. Thanks!

the quality of vinyl is all the same, but today vinyl is made at expense, limited white vinyls for example the only thing with vinyl is the sleeves, the sleeves today are more limited all vinyls are the same quality
